Q. What type of franchise is available?
A. We franchise the right to operate a diagnostic testing and supplemental education center that provides individualized tutoring and assessment, standardized test preparation and individually tailored instructional programs and services to children and young adults.
Q. How much is the franchise fee?
A. The franchise fee is $39,900. ($5000 franchise fee discount to all certified teachers) Our franchise disclosure documents go into more specific details about your total initial investment. Call today to set up a meeting and receive our Franchise Agreement.
Q. How much is the fee for continuing support services?
A. The continuing services or “royalty fee,” is 8% of your gross sales. This fee entitles you to use the “Omega Learning Center” service mark, use of distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and counseling, and other benefits that come with being an Omega Learning Center franchisee.
Q. Will I have an exclusive territory?
A. We will grant you a territory (called an “area of primary responsibility” or “area”) that will be delineated by zip codes or other physical, political or natural boundaries containing a population of approximately # 80,000.
Q. What about advertising?
A. The Omega Learning Center name and reputation is an important part of our business. You will spend a minimum of $3,000 on grand-opening advertising during the first three months of operations. You will also spend at least 5% of your previous month's gross sales on local advertising/ marketing. In addition, all franchisees contribute to a Group Marketing Fund, where you will be expected to make contributions of 2% of your gross sales. This fund is for the marketing benefit of all franchisees.
Q. How much training is provided?
A. The initial training is extensive and covers all material aspects of the operation of an Omega Learning Center Business and is comprised of classroom and on-the-job training. There is also continued training and support at your business after you open.
Q. What is the term of the Franchise Agreement?
A. The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is five years from the date the Franchise Agreement is signed. The franchise is renewable for four successive terms of five years each, providing you have complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement.
